Matthew Kovnot
Bass and Vocals
Born in Miami to Philadelphian parents and transplanted in San
Francisco, Matthew is one of the recent additions to the Outbacks. Matthew
has been playing bass on and off for 15 years and is the former Race Director
for the San Francisco SkiClub and an avid ice hockey player.
Equipment: Randall RB-60 and Peavey Minx bass amps, Rickenbacker 4001, Peavey T-40, Bending Branches Ultra 7700 Pattern 99, Rich's borrowed Steinberger (all except for the Steinberger strung with RotoSound 66 Swing Bass Nickel Roundwound strings,) a big ol' stainless steel pick, and a Shure SM58 mic.
